Addiction comes in many different forms. The most common, or at least the most commonly discussed forms of addiction are the addiction to drugs and alcohol, but other forms of addiction exist and can include gambling, sex, spending and food. According to a recent survey conducted by the Survey, Faces and Voices of Recovery Public Campaign, nearly 66% of American families have been touched by addiction of either drugs or alcohol. If you take into account other forms of addiction, the number of people affected by addiction, increases to almost 100%.
